For Monday:
The ones we love most
Are those that we hurt the same,
Strong love and strong pain.
For Sunday:
How messy our lives,
Passions light and dark woven
Loosely, now tightly.
For Saturday:
Simple town pleasures,
Nineteen-fifty's festival,
Treats, crafts, animals.
For Friday:
High school students play
Apathy like a hit song,
Temporary fad.
For Thursday:
Driven to madness
By projects so near their end,
But finish line leaps.
